This hand-appliquéd and embroidered quilted wall hanging has been naturally dyed using indigo, marigold, onion skins, annatto seeds, and yarrow. The back has been bundle dyed with rust and avocado.
Due to the organic nuances of natural pigments and the individual expressive signature of my handwork, each piece is truly one of kind. The fabrics are sourced sustainably from upcycled fabrics, fabric remnants and lined with 100% cotton batting.
A small ring on the back allows for easy wall hanging, though it could also be used as a playful pot holder
